This is the error I got when installing cert-manager #operator on an #openshift test cluster. 2 hours later I know: there is no 'stable' channel for #gitops-operator any longer, there is 1.8, 1.9, etc. and 'latest'.
And according to various bug trackers there are issues with caching and operator lifecycle manager.
2 hours.

One thing that always sidetracks my #genealogy work is coming across an old #highschool #yearbook. MI do look for my “person of interest” but I’m fascinated by how the #students dressed, what the #teachers looked like, what #sports and #activities were offered, the #theme of the book, and the #advertisements. Tonight, I flipped through one from 1928 from #grandrapids #michigan. Michigan Bell ran an ad inviting the female #grads to apply to be an #operator. #geneadons #Ancestry #history

91 followers · 597 posts · Server fosstodon.orgJust found out that the #Percona MySQL #Operator, which deploys a Percona XtraDB/Galera Cluster on #Kubernetes quite nicely and sets up #ProxySQL to be able to split traffic between read and write queries, does not, actually, loadbalance over the nodes. There's a bug open since May 2021 which just disables this feature by providing incorrect config in ProxySQL. So this killer feature, which is still advertised in the docs, simply does not work at all. And there's no way to fix it manually.

Maybe it’s a #microservice that handles all that business logic, which is consumed by the reconcile loop.
Maybe it just doesn’t work for level-based systems.
Not sure yet….
