I have a big-ass list of books I want to read, but I've never finished reading Lord of the Rings. Should I move on to new books since I already know the story of LotR, or should I muddle through the trilogy again to finally have the full series marked as read?

Also same question but for Harry Potter—I've read through Order of the Phoenix but that was a few years ago, so I'd probably have to start over.

Alternate option: should I just watch the movies again?
