In Nova Scotia Canada if you are prescribed OAT (menthadone or subxone) outside of jail you can continue once a prisoner - like with any prescription. But if you are just an opiod addict - you just have to suffer. Ridiculous. All addicted prisoners whould get access to OAT, if they want it. #novascotia #prison #prisons #opiods

I am a chronic pain patient and have been taken +10 years opioids, the last two years on fentanyl and it remarkably improved my own life compared to the combination of morphine / oxycodone I had before.

Makes me sad to see that fentanyl and its derivatives also end up causing such harm.
