Ist es den meisten egal das eine #ePatientenakte OHNE eure Zustimmung für euch angelegt wird, auf die auch Forschung Wissenschaft zugriff hat? Und jeder Arzt, egal ob es relevant ist oder nicht?
Ich meine jeder der eine haben möchte, kann sich ja eine anlegen lassen. Aber es wird 100% nicht rechtzeitig und für jeden leicht auffindbar kommuniziert werden, wie man wiedersprechen kann, da bin ich mir sicher. Deshalb nur mit ausdrücklicher Zustimmung.

I'm following @beuc's #EHDS #ConsumerDebate online and I still fail to understand this:

Their representative polls found that "the further away from the GP, the less people are willing to share their #HealthData" and yet BEUC concludes that while data use by medical profl's should require #OptIn consent, for secondary use by #BigPharma and #BigTech an #OptOut option is enough. ❓❓❓

@nextcloud Also I think it should be respecting and accepting one's #privacy and be an #OptIn solution that is completely #OnPremise / within one's own IT.

After all, this is why I like and use #Nextcloud and @collabora's @CollaboraOffice #CollaboraOffice and all the other parts of my #TechStack:

I want every single component to be accountable to me down to every bit, and only #FLOSS allows me to have independent audits if need be.

One of the many downsides of providing an #optout right rather than an #optin requirement for secondary #health data use in the #EHDS is well visible in one of the amendments:

➡️ "Health data access bodies shall maintain an opt-out register..."

That register would have to uniquely identify every patient across the EU with a new identifier.

If opt-out at all, that preference should be stored by doctors/hospitals, but that means patients would have to opt-out over and over again. Not great.

@netzpolitik_feed Stimmt einem System niemand zu per #OptIn, ändert man es einfach zu einem #OptOut. Das versäumen dann viele und schon hat man „ein funktionierendes System erschaffen“…

Die Daten werden dann hin- und hergeschoben, von verschiedenen Stellen ausgelesen.

Und das soll reibungslos klappen?
Klappt ja nicht mal diese #eAU vernünftig.
