@jackissocool My city, #Omaha, launched a #BRT two years ago. They changed the name slightly to make it a catchy, pronounceable word: #ORBT (like Orbit).

At the moment, it’s a single route that runs east/west across the town, but the authority hope to implement a north/south route in the future.

Two years ago, #Omaha began running #ORBT (pronounced like orbit), which is Omaha Rapid Bus Transit, or #BusRapidTransit for the rest of the world.

While I can't quite call it a game changer just yet, it was a huge leap forward for #PublicTransit in our city.
