A recent research that analysed 274 #performance distributions, including 200,825 teams, reveals that star #teams are much more prevalent than predicted by normality. Instead, nonnormal distributions, and the power law with exponential cutoff distribution in particular, emerge as the most prevalent across a wide range of samples and contexts and boundary conditions.
