Hans Fährmann was a #German composer and #organist, described by the critics of his time as a Richard #Strauss of the organ litterature.
Erster Siegessatz from 1916 is much more than a simple patriotic piece to celebrate a victory (which was never to come)

For those not familiar with the acronyms, the RCO is the UK based Royal College of Organists and SWO is the Society of Women #Organists. I'm a member of #SWO and they're not active in the fediverse yet but maybe I can help to change that.

Okay, here we go - two different versions of op. 151, a prelude in E flat major by Mel Bonis. She wrote this piece as op. 10 for piano and later made an organ version.
