Addition of silicon nucleophiles to 3-substituted azirines:
Martin Oestreich (TU #Berlin, #Germany) and colleagues published in #AngewandteChemie the #copper catalyzed enantioselective addition of silicon nucleophiles to azirines, which the authors called cyclic strained ketimines. High yields were reported for aryl substrates, whereas non-aryl substrates gave lower yields/selectivity.
