Most command-and-control artifacts, processes and tools are so terrible that they only survive because Alpha organizations are so strongly divided, horizontally & vertically: Here, everyone supposes that "the other side" LOVES those stupid artifacts, processes and tools.
It's learned hopelessness.

In organizations, on the other side, the hopelessless soon fades, and the stupidity of management tools becomes obvious.

Here's a list of what I call X-Tools or "Bullshit practices": An overview over just a small selection of processes, tools and patterns that cannot "work" in complexity, and that cannot work with human beings as they are. These organizational tools are mere BS and they belong on the garbage heap of history!
