I've finished this little doll yesterday. She's been given a name too! Gwen! There are a few small, fiddly things I want to do yet. Gwen won't be going into my shop. I don't think my heart could handle her languishing, unsold in my shop right now.

I got so much work done yesterday! I even got to start the bows for Willow and Aster too! Once I finish the sequin work, I can sew the bows together, take picture and add them to my shop tomorrow!

I got the beaks and bills created and attached to the heads. Then I got all the bodies together. My orders of wool felt and sequins came early (YAY!) so I can also start planning bows and decorations for each.

I'm giving the cube-headed doll design a second go. There are technique issues I want to better sort out. Along with the the steps required in a more ordered sequence. The pattern needed some slight alterations. I also want to play with sequins again.

I can hear her saying, "Mother? Where are my arms and legs?" She's got a lot of things wrong with her. But she's an Alpha Doll, so this is normal. Her head rotates which was something i was using her as a test for. Her siblings will be of better construction. I need to get on those arms and legs now. She's looking more impatient with each passing minute.
