Coming 🔜... acoustic test for #OrionESM 2!
#Behindthescenes when we mounted the 4 solar wings ☀️ to get ready for the Service Module acoustic test.
After the test, the solar wings will be dismounted and inspected. Then, they will be stored under nitrogen until they are finally… https://twitter.com/i/web/status/1653765596289327106

Yeah, the small crescent is our home planet... More than 100,000 km to go for the #Orion spacecraft, but it is gaining speed rapidly due to the #Earth's increasing pull of gravity. #Splashdown in the Pacific Ocean is scheduled for Sunday, Dec. 11, 17:39 UTC.

The lunar flyby later today will slow down #Orion to a near standstill. After that, the spacecraft will fall back to #Earth in an almost straight line. Looking forward to some nice photos!
