@floppy #Streams (https://codeberg.org/streams/streams) is the name of the code repository (and the "project") of the successor to #Zap (and #RedMatrix, #Osada, #Misty and #Roadhouse).

Zap, in turn, was created as a slimmed-down successor to #Hubzilla which focuses more on #NomadicIdentity.

In case you don't know Hubzilla either (https://hubzilla.org), it's an even more powerful successor to #Friendica (https://friendi.ca) which was created some 6 years before #Mastodon to federate with everything.

Omg after all that #MikeMacgirvin is abandoning #Osada. Thanks @lightone for pointing it out. I wonder if some other folks will take it on. It had a lot of promise if it was cleaned up a lot.

I wonder if #hubzilla could be useful as a website & media storage area (with fine grain ability to grant access to different stuff), hook it up to a #osada account through linked identity (think have to wait, hopefully not long, for this to work) to get a link into #activitypub without losing clone/nomadic identity abilities.

#Osada l'a en natif. #Hubzilla l'a en app, très souvent installée par défaut, mais il y a des instances où les admins militant pour les identités nomades et pour le développement de #zot la suppriment ainsi que tous les autres bridge (ex: Diaspora*)
Par contre, l'argument de ces admins (et de @mike@osada.macgirvin.com ) c'est qu'#ActivityPub est incompatible avec les identités nomades de Zot. Je suis curieux de savoir comment ils contournent ça avec #Osada...

doch wurde schon immer wieder. Du bist wahrscheinlich eben falsch bei mastodon und wärst viel besser bei #Friendica oder #Hubzilla bzw #Osada / #Zap aufgehoben.. Diese Aplikationen sind ganz einfach zu istallieren so das jeder selberhosten kann. das von allen umgesetzt kommt P2P nahe...

1. Log in to your Plume #instance.

2. If you want to follow anyone on #Mastodon, #Misskey, #Osada, or within the #fediverse at large from within Plume, add their full profile adress behind the Plume URL, like this: @/gargron@mastodon.social

3. Their profile will be displayed in Plume, and you can click on 'follow' to follow them.
