It's called a bottleneck for a reason! Congestion analysis in #topologicpy. This visualization shows you the paths most travelled. The sources are half the perimeter and the destination is the other half. This is a really good way to place corridors and footpaths. @osarch #osarch

I finally finished my #CAD for Gardeners online class!

I’d have liked such a course when i started out with my #wildlife & #FoodForest #GardenDesign, hopefully folk will find it useful. Only an hour long, I try to cover only the 10% of CAD that you need for designing gardens.

Dynamo. I've totally re-written the page for #Dynamo (that mostly #Revit node based programming tool) on the #OSArch wiki.

I'd like some checks of the terminology. I'm a bit unclear about the licensing differences between Dynamo Player, Dynamo Sandbox ( #opensource ?) and Dynamo Studio (which I'm sure is proprietary).

Today’s progress: In 3D models, it is not always guaranteed that faces are oriented in a consistent manner. When it comes time to place elements or grids (especially if they are not symmetric), the results can be unsatisfactory (left). #topologicpy can now harmonise all faces (right). #osarch

My not entirely impartial suggestion is that if you're looking for #freeSoftware options for dealing with geometry then you could ask on the #OSArch forum or chat, or maybe on the very active #FreeCAD forum? #OpenSCAD also has chat ... where have you already looked? Our own forum might give you answers that don't depend on OpenSCAD.

I'm thinking you didn't need an explanation of #RSS. I'm just still exploring good ways of sharing other people's toots with a comment to my own followers. We have casually discussed the importance of RSS on #osarch

I'm very excited about the possibilities of the Mega-Polis #blender plugin that @klixto has been working on. It uses the blender node plugin #Sverchok to bring in and manipulate #GIS data in blender. Already it can utilize #whiteboxtools and #pandas. Can't wait to play with it.
