If you like , and , do not miss the latest preprint by Iván León and Hiroya Nakao: arxiv.org/abs/2308.02105 Here they present a method to approximate a limit cycle through an expansion of the phase response curve, which seems to be very general.

I asked Iván a pair of years ago if one could do something like this, because I was interested too. Great to know he got a nice solution to the problem!

An interesting result on synchronization of nonlinear systems (Strogatz et al.):

Expander graphs are globally synchronising
arxiv.org/abs/2210.12788

[..] In this paper, we show that a graph with sufficient expansion must be globally synchronising, meaning that the Kuramoto model on such a graph will converge to the fully synchronised state with all the oscillators with same phase, for every initial state up to a set of measure zero.

FINALLY 🥳 after days of debugging I fixed my python implementation of the new ADAA algo proposed in this paper for wavetable oscillators : ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9

Now that it's working let's try to tweak things and move to a C++ version 👀

PS : graph below is w/o oversampling

One of mine this time: Understanding the Generation of Network Bursts by Adaptive Oscillatory Neurons.

We propose a simple model to describe regular bursting activity in .
It models neurons as relaxation due to the combination of slow cellular adaptation and fast spike emission.
This gives a self-consistent equation linking properties of the to single-cell and parameters.
