So, Neal Stephenson appears to be fascinated with #VirtualReality. When I've read "Snowcrash" and now "Fall or Dodge in Hell," I also get fascinated with it as well and install my own instance of #opensimulator. I've been playing with writing a script that when touching an object will prompt me to write a message that will get posted to a mastodon feed. There was some head scratching but I now have @SamuelLoire posting to my #osgrid instance. Text for now. I'll work on pictures next.

Fixed. Added those two boxes to my #OSgrid #WrightPlaza shop and the OSgrid #RuthAndRoth region area with lots of Ruth and Roth stuff in general. Thanks for mentioning it; I like to keep everything available as much as I can.

After buying a few things there I realised most of the stuff must have been illegally exported from SecondLife. But hey, it was nice to have the same Vista AO that I had bought in SL. However, when I jumped to another world on the grid, items never appeared there. They had implemented the check on the export bit, which I vaguely remembered.

Just change the prompt to the desired region, then enter the desired command. As for now, a “terrain revert” will restore most of my damage. #oops #opensimulator #osgrid #root
