Why cant i save an intinary in #osmandapp ? Maybe i want to map the bus route, or share my jogging track with others on osm ?

Whelp, 11 miles is my current operational distance without injuring myself. I made the extra five miles back to the house but it damn near killed me (well, it felt that way anyway). My feet are screaming (and blistered). My legs and hips and shoulders are all screaming. I had to break every half mile after mile 12. I'll need to figure out how to drop another 3-5 pounds off the base weight at least if every 15 mile day is gonna be like this and I don't acclimate. I'm currently hauling a two-person 5.5 pound tent. That's gotta go.

And I also had "pancreatitis pain," which is my colloquial term for when I feel abdominal pain that resembles the pain I get in the run-up to a bout of acute pancreatitis (I've had three bouts so far; they hospitalize me each time I get a bout). Scared the shit outta me. It's subsided though. So I'll need to be super attentive to that as well while in the Backcountry. I might pick up a PLB (Personal Locator Beacon; basically a "I'm fucked please come rescue me" Beacon) after all.

Now I'm waiting for the 600mg of ibuprofen to take effect. And for the exhaustion to put me to sleep.

#OsmandApp worked perfectly, as usual, telling me exactly where to take a turn, also without the map of Gelderland province. <3

And now I'm in the process of de-junkifying my Google Pixel. There's a shit-ton of Google stuff that comes pre-installed and cannot be uninstalled, only disabled. #DontBeEvil is dead.

And of course I'm re-installing everything from f-droid. #k9mail/#thunderbird, #FreeOTP, #DAVx5, #KeePassDX, #LibreTorrent, #Nextcloud, #OsmAndApp, #SimpleMobileTools suite, #OpenKeyChain, #Tusky. I also use #FFUpdater to get #Firefox, #Orbot (#tor proxy), and #TorBrowser installed/managed.

And then I'll have to worry about re-syncing #signalmessenger #signal app. I took a back-up, but... last time I did that it gave me headaches (that I eventually resolved at least).

Maybe I'll have all this done in a few more hours :P

Suffice it to say, I'm already missing #GrapheneOS and feel like mobile operating systems are stuck in the 1990s portal era of system and service design, always trying to "help" you and "hide" the details. What's old is new again, I guess.

Ich kann die Karte nicht mehr wirklich nutzen, weil ich nur noch grünes Gewusel sehe. Hab die Einstellungen durchforstet und nicht gefunden, woran es liegen könnte, auch nach "auf Voreinstellung zurücksetzen" unter Konfiguration sieht es noch genauso aus...

@sebsauvage @Dio94 merci pour les infos. J'avais déjà la version fdroid, mais sur mon Fairphone 2 Open OS, non seulement ça ramait et chauffait mais la recherche des rues était à la rue. Viens d'installer la version Osmand+, hoouu mais ça à l'air tout bien tout gentil, et ça maaarche !
En plus trop bien les indications des dénivelés sur tout le trajet :-)

I could even transfer past events into #osmandapp - the speed readings seem to be a bit off, but GPX and time seems to be fine. 😻
