@silmathoron @organicmaps I was excited for OrganicMaps till I found out the desktop version (and thus the Linux mobile version) is quite a lot different from the Android version. Now I'm more excited for #osmin personally, which is the same no matter where it's ran

GPS kind of working for me on #Oneplus6. At least I do get some position from the modem every few minutes, so nothing I would use to navigate with. I like the interface from #Osmin though and would love to use it when riding the bike as soon as GPS gets better.

For navigation we use a 2nd hand OP6, running #LineageOS connected to a #SON28 dynamo via #sinewavecycles usb converter.

The cycle routes in France are very well and we followed them using #osmin in cycling mode. If we plan, we use #brouter which is excellent.

To find toilets, drinking water or shelters we use #OSMData via #organicmaps or #osmin. We also contribute missing data via #Vespucci from #fdroid
We believe in #foss and drinkingwater spots are essential (stop bottled water).

#Pinephone I succesfully installed #Osmin on #PostmarketOS. The gps works, but the position is about 400m far from the right coordinates!
