I was looking up the meaning of "ostinato," related to exercises for the harp. A site that links a number of popular songs that use this musical techniqe says of Stevie Wonder: "Stevie Wonder’s “Superstition” is a prime example of an ostinato. The main riff is played on electric guitar and is one of the most iconic riffs in popular music."

Jean-Baptiste Geoffroy/percussionist -> Tachycardie. "Mille fois depuis le Vignemale" reminded of GYBE! first, but rides a minimal ostinato percussion train in conjunction w/ electronic sound shaping. Not sentimental. World-class performance might i say. A lot of breathing & heart rates 100++. Simple & transmutational, there's blood in this, iron, rust, red. Not for simple, kitschy minds maybe.
