This trailer for the up-coming film, Uproar, looks great. And feels very much a film about Aotearoa. Stars Julian Dennison and Rhys Darby. Looks like it was shot in Ōtepoti/Dunedin.

I recently posted a list of Mastodon users that have some connection to Ōtepoti/Dunedin. I didn't think that was quite the best way to do it, so I created a Google spreadsheet with the list of users with some connection to Ōtepoti/Dunedin, including details from their profiles. You can see it at the link below.
No doubt I have missed some users so please contact me for additions, corrections, or if you wish to be removed from the list.

New users often want to know who to follow here or find others of a like-mind here on Mastodon. I recall someone from Dunedin was asking this question earlier in the day. So here is a list of those who I follow or have come across who have a connection to Dunedin/Ōtepoti. It's in alphabetical order and spread over three posts. Happy to add other suggestions for Dunedin-related people to follow.

#Listening to the Koizilla album I Don't Surf I Boogie, which they made in their lounge in 2020. Great stuff from these Ōtepoti indie rockers:

A lot of their music has a surf theme, and I can hear the surf rock influences here and there. But much stronger influences appear to be psychedelic rock and math rock.

There's an email from the school if you're in #Ōtepoti and wondering if this is your school :(
Still feeling decidedly meh today with that head cold but desperately want to get out on the bike in this gorgeous #Ōtepoti weather. What to do?!
