We are recruiting members in Otero county, New Mexico.

Our goal is to hold non-partisan voter election and registration events in Otero county.

We hope to organize as a "unit" of the LWV of Southern New Mexico...which keeps overhead (board members, etc.) lower for our initially small group.

I want to do some voting trend analysis for my locale.

The New Mexico Sec of State website is a starting point:

Geographically it breaks data down to precincts.

But there is no demographic breakdown of gender, age, etc.

Couy Griffin’s appeal dismissed by NM Supreme Court

Cowboys for Trump founder, Couy Griffin’s appeal to New Mexico's Supreme Court has been dismissed. After being removed from his position as Otero County Commissioner, Griffin asked the state’s Supreme Court to reconsider his forced removal from office, but the latest move by the court shows he won’t be able to plead his case.
