Currently playing through #cupidparasite and being pleasantly surprised by a character I didn’t expect to like. I love how the protagonist has such a fresh perspective on #romance it’s really easy to get an understanding of the rather problematic characters like Ryuki.

No stupid drama that came out of nowhere!
Sena was pretty good at communicating as well.
He made sure to understand Chiyuki.
Chiyuki's "love rival" was done rather well too!
She felt like an actual character and not just a hate-sink to defeat.
(Many otome isekai stories could learn something from it)

It's also very diverse inclusive. If you're a fan of childhood friends to lovers trope, this'll be a great one for you. Much of the visual novel takes place in a beachside town in southern California. As someone who's always wanted to live there, if anywhere in the U.S., this was a real treat.
