@josh Heh, sorry about that. Then I definitely won't mention that "Richard Diamond" and "Gunsmoke" are also quite good. Or that they're all available through the Old Time Radio Research Group (#OTRR) at the #InternetArchive

@willmckinley Because of a recent problem with some parts of the #otrr library, I can't testify to the functionality of all my MP3 links, but do check out my "newsies in the movies on the radio" pages... I write blog entries about individual movies, but some have multiple adaptations and I compare them a bit with longer pages.
And then there's a page with a numbered alpha list. The movies liked newspaper characters, and the radio liked movies!
@willmckinley Nice to see #otr and #otrr on Mastodon for the first time since I joined. I write about a narrow niche of #OldTimeRadio --series or single episodes that featured newspaper reporter characters, from Clark Kent, Lois Lane and the Green Hornet to Night Beat, Rogers of the Gazette, and Lux Radio Theater (etc.) radioplay adaptations of classic "newspaper movies."
Unfortunately some of my OTRR MP3 file links need updating, but I'll get around to them in time.
