🌸Co się kryje w akademii Ouran? Część 3/4 – Queer po japońsku🌸
W poprzednich odcinkach… Pierwszy wpis o Ouran High School Host Club (https://whosome.pl/inne-planety/felietony-inne-planety/ouran-high-school-host-club-1/ ) stanowił entuzjastyczną recenzję z perspektywy „ojej, rzecz, którą kochałam za nastoletniości nadal wydaje mi się dobra!”. Tekst praktycznie nie zawiera spoilerów, więc jeśli ktoś, kto właśnie tu zajrzał_, nie zna ani mangi ani jej adaptacji anime, może spokojnie go przeczytać i zagłębić się dalej w temat. Albo i nie, jeśli uzna OHSHC za nieinteresujący… Choć osobiście nie wiem, jak tak można. Drugi tekst z serii (https://whosome.pl/inne-planety/felietony-inne-planety/ouran-high-school-host-club-2/ ) nadgryzł temat reprezentacji LGBTQ+ w komiksie i animacji z franczyzy. Zaczyna się od zarysowania głównych queerowych wątków w serii, po czym skupia się na zachodniej krytyce tychże wątków. Wskazuję w niej, że krytyka ta, choć zrozumiała, nie zawsze jest w pełni adekwatna do kontekstu kulturowego obu produkcji.
A co czeka was, drogie Osoby Czytające, w tym odcinku?
Myślę, że ciekawie będzie wrócić jeszcze do tematu queerowości… Ale tym razem spróbuję ją osadzić w kulturze i społeczeństwie Japonii. Innymi słowy, zamierzam spróbować odpowiedzieć na pytanie, co przedstawione w Ouran High School Host Club wątki LGBTQ+ mówią o japońskim podejściu do queerowości. Oczywiście, nie mogę zagwarantować, że moje wnioski będą w pełni trafione czy też reprezentatywne, ale… No co mogę powiedzieć, postaram się.
Planuję skupić się na trzech wątkach, które wydają mi się najbardziej symptomatyczne: kwestii językowych wokół ojca Haruhi, przedstawieniu lesbijskiego (?) Klubu Zuka, wreszcie ramowaniu (ang. framing), w jakim funkcjonuje w tej opowieści główny romantyczny związek serii. W tej ostatniej części zdecydowanie należy się spodziewać spoilerów z mangi, które znacząco wykraczają poza to, co udało się zekranizować w animacji. Czujcie się ostrzeżeni.
