So the #BrassBand gig that was filling me with anxiety plus it was in the city centre was this evening. It was probably the best gig I've ever had the honour to be a part of.

Playing alongside #OurDementiaChoir, Vicky McClure, Nicola Roberts (who we got to accompany for her solo of Silent Night) Adrian Dunbar & Sheridan Smith was so much fun, plus beautiful, emotional & utterly inspiring.

I'm so glad I managed to stick with it. I ended up being fairly free to stim, so I needn't have worried about silent #StimToys. Did come close to a meltdown when I lost my phone (fell out my pocket in a restaurant during our break), but a band friend helped/supported me in staying vaguely calm & went with me back to the restaurant. I survived the city centre

First #Christmas themed #BrassBand concert of the year done. I now have the same few bars of Santa Claus-trophobia stuck in my head on repeat.
Up next carols at a church on Sunday, then concert with #OurDementiaChoir & Vicky McClure on Monday & a concert with a male voice choir on Thursday. I'm exhausted already.
