@pojntfx I really enjoy #starfield and I enjoyed #cyberpunk2077 when it released. But the longer I play starfield, the more I feel like we collectively did Cyberpunk dirty. It is in many ways so much more advanced (yes, it should never have been released and last gen consoles) and the seem less open world is just one of many things. Starfield makes the best of the Fallout-in-space premise and ultimately feels like a much better #OuterWorlds, but Cyberpunk moved the genre forward a lot.

45.3 Hours of in game time and I finally finished my solo Supernova difficulty run of Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition on #Linux.

It was a lot easier with the level cap removed than compared to the original game. Still very much enjoyed it and the silly satire they were going for.

Not worth the asking price, though. Just buy the original instead; it goes on sale for $5 occasionally.

I know, "Why?" Because I've heard the Spacer's Choice version makes some art direction changes, and I think I'd rather have the original experience. It also will run a little better on my Steam Deck, where I'm more likely to play it. I can always upgrade later if I really want the additions. But Spacer's Choice doesn't include the original version like some other rereleases. #gaming #outerworlds

#Starfield is pretty darn fun, with a lot of that #Bethesda charm and expansiveness. It’s like if #Fallout4 and #OuterWorlds had a baby, with some space travel mechanics.

Finished #OuterWorlds last night. Not bad #Sci-Fi #RPG. Short. You wake up to fight the corporations that rule everyone's life. Directly pointed at 'capitalism goes bad'. Your decisions kind of matter. Mostly for the epilog story summary at the end. The best part of the game was the relationship quests for your crewmates. The shootemup aspect of it became pretty repetitive and lackluster. Since I completed almost every side quest, I was way overpowered by the end. However, I would recommend it.

There were some really interesting games in the showcase. The new #Fable with #richardayoade voicing a character looks great, #Avowed looks like it may be the next #Skyrim- if it's Obsidian at their best and NOT the mediocrity that was #Outerworlds in the end.
A medieval fantasy RPG with real roleplaying? Sign me up.

Not to mention: the new #Hellblade !

But all of this is merely on par with what other platforms have. Xbox desperately needs the groundbreaker Starfield wants to be
