Thirty-five years ago today I came out of the closet and told another human being that I am gay. Some would rather #LGBTQ people like me stayed in the closet, quivering in fear of their violent anger and #FakeChristianity. In memory of those killed and injured in #ColoradoSprings yesterday, I reaffirm that I am who I am whether you like it or not.
