After 6 months hiatus, I picked up my #ovation #guitar and played for a while (ow my fingers) - Inspiration was some Tragically Hip that came up on #radioparadise.

I've never been 100% sure when it was made, though. According to the various websites that track serial numbers, this guitar (012160) was made in 1973, which would make it (EEK!) 50 years old! But the sites tend to be a little squirrely about dates then.

Any ideas? I do love how it sounds.

Martin HD28E Acoustic Electric Guitar

I don't play my electric guitar that much. When I play guitar, it's usually acoustic.

I've had 5 acoustics over my lifetime that I can remember. #Ovation, #Fender, #Breedlove, #Taylor (stolen, very painful), maybe others that don't come to mind, and now this #Martin.

This Martin far eclipses the others, worth every crazy penny.
