Something I really love about my work at JAX is that it helps communicate the tremendous amount of variation in responses to substances like cocaine, nicotine, and alcohol, which tells us 1) the data supports a compassionate approach to , given the substantial association of genetic determinants to disease-related traits like habit formation, risk, and , and 2) we shouldn't be using a 'one size fits all' mental model when interpreting disease phenotypes 💙

Trouver une manière d'expliquer à mon cerveau que ce n'est pas parce que ça donne un shot de dopamine quand on part en voyage qu'il faut en payer jusqu'à ce que le compte affiche 0€ et qu'on soit matériellement bloqué, réussir à mautobloquer serait l'idéal mais en vrai je ne pense qu'à la prochaine destination, alors que techniquement je pars lundi soir mais visiblement pour mon cerveau c'est pas suffisant il faut plus, encore, encore, le reste de mon corps est fatigué
