What if a business "going public" () meant being converted into a cooperative? The gets their cash payout for building something of value to the community by actually *selling* it to the community? Power to the people!

I want to see laws passed that help promote and incentivize this option.

We can’t afford to take care of the homeless, the sick, the poor, the tired, the weak, and the hungry. We can’t help our vets when they come home with shell shock, battle fatigue, or PTSD. We can’t find good medical care for them or the rest of the country, but we can find $45 billion more dollars to bomb some backwater place out of existence.
