@Gemma On my monthly check of my twit feed, I saw #Overstory had recently bought the Burnaby Beacon & Victoria Capital News firing Brishti Basu, who had recently blown the lid off the hospital crisis and lack of protections in #bced schools.

And yes they also recently bought Georgia straight and fired Charlie Smith when he was critical of this #BCNDP’s non-handling of covid. Big money buys big opinion. Paper beats stone. #bcpoli

One of my favourite books of all time is Richard Power's The Overstory. Which is basically about trees...but oh so very much more... 🌳🌲🌴
