#UBI works best if the citizenry appreciate that its a #nationalDividend and may fluctuate based on #taxes earned. UBI should also go up with #age.
#LandTax based on #rentalValue is the most equitable way to earn such taxes.
This will never be spoken about on #corporateMedia sources, largely because they are part of the #owningClass that owns the #land.

Many people lie about who they're voting for - most people are scared to admit that they percieve themselves as #wealthy. Yes, an #aspirational #workingClass, often #migrantWorkers, believe they're rich.
The #corporatists (aka #owningClass, #MurdochEmpire) use #polls to scare people towards #voting against their interests - before every #election they scream, "#LandslideLeft".

The extremely wealthy are ruthless and will stop at nothing. Prof #MichaelParenti calls them the "#owningClass". The #coup in #Bolivia for #lithium being only the latest sick example.
