Amerikaans gitarist en zanger, die postuum een eigen model gitaar kreeg, de #Charvel Randy Rhoads flying V. Oprichter van #hardrockband #QuietRiot en vooral gitarist van de band van #OzzyOsbourne.
Wat hij steeds is blijven doen is gitaarles geven aan jongeren, soms zelfs gratis.
Hij bracht samen met Quiet Riot 2 albums uit, maar de groep brak pas door met het album #MetalHealth uit 1983.

OMG! I just noticed the song *before* "I Wanna Be Somebody" is "Shot In The Dark". If this is a cover of the Ozzy song off The Ultimate Sin, Imma gonna freak out EVEN MORE!!!
That was my first Ozzy album - probably my sentimental favourite to boot!

Bill begint te drummen als 5 jarige, beïnvloed door de #bigband muziek die hij thuis hoort, waaronder #GeneKrupa.
En later als tiener is oa #RingoStarr zijn groot voorbeeld.
Vanaf 1960 speelt hij in het bandje #TheRest en in 1964 ontmoet hij guitarist #TonyIommi, en ze richten de band #Mythology op.
#GeezerButler en #OzzyOsbourne van de band #RareBreed richten samen met hen #PolkaTulkBlues op. In 1969 veranderen ze de naam in #BlackSabbath.

In 1981 stopt hij bij Pat, en gaat werken met #GaryMoore en voegt zich bij diens band. Daar leert hij #RandyRhoads kennen die hem introduceert bij #OzzyOsbourne die hem al kent van een gezamenlijke tournee van #BlackSabbath met Black Oak Arkansas. Hij voegt zich dan ook bij de band van Osbourne tot hij in 1984 de band verlaat.
Kort daarna richt hij met #RobRock en Ozzy bassist #RudySarzo het project #MARS op, met deze trekt hij in 1987 naar

Drummer van oa #Whitesnake en de begeleidingsband van #OzzyOsbourne die zichzelf leerde drummen als kind.
En zijn kit met het ronddragen van de krant stukje bij beetje aankocht.
Hij heeft een unieke stijl van drummen, wat hij zelf bij zijn zelfeducatie legt.
Hij is de eerste en pionier in het drummen met dubbele kickdrums binnen de hardrockscene geïnspireerd door jazzdrummers zoals #LouisBellson.
