So if you don't mind me telling you again about this event in #Brussels I've been working on for iMAL:
RECLAIM THE WEB!
The second speaker this Saturday will be @raphaelbastide
He will talk about art on the #P2Pweb, introducing among other things the #floatingswarm surf club.
He will also co-lead the hands-on #BeakerBrowser workshop with @kodedninja!
All the info is on iMAL website http://imal.org/en/event/p2p-web

Putting my #iMAL hat on again to tell you about the thing I've been working on in the past few months:
RECLAIM THE WEB!
Our first speaker this Saturday will be Hunor Karamán aka @kodedninja
He'll introduce the #P2Pweb and the #BeakerBrowser.
Later in the afternoon, he will also animate a hands-on #Beaker #workshop with @raphaelbastide

https://p2pforever.org/ p2pforever is a humble hub of peer to peer web resources
@maiki@mastodon.sdf.org interesting, also #datproject and #ipfs were added. The two ends of the spectrum 😀 #p2pweb
Bunsen Browser https://github.com/bunsenbrowser/bunsen is a mobile browser for dat:// resources. Currently in alpha state #datproject #p2pweb
Looking into #datproject https://datproject.org/ and https://beakerbrowser.com/ #p2pweb it's quite promising, but difficult to understand how it relates to #ipfs - I also need to understand what apps and tools are available for mobile devices
Want a quick feel for the future of Web publishing?
1. npm install -g dat
2. Ask friend to install Beaker Browser (https://beakerbrowser.com/install/)
3. mkdir mysite && cd mysite && echo "Hello, world!" >> index.html
4. dat share
5. Ask friend to open the DAT URL you’re given in Beaker Browser. They’ll see the index page with “Hello, world!”
