338 followers · 1507 posts · Server mas.toSomeone recommended the Watch Duty app for fire monitoring, and I am glad. It’s very cool! And allows me to turn on notifications for specific fires that concern me most. I used to rely on Twitter for this, but of course that’s no longer such a good idea.
I see Watch Duty has icons on their page to link out to FB, Insta etc.. Wonder if/when we can start seeing Mastodon icons among them?

I haven’t gone on a solo trip in a very long time, but I used to do some solo #BikeTouring (the cool kids call it #BikePacking now, I hear, or maybe that specifically applies to off-road stuff?) in the #PacNW, sometimes in the winter even. I’ll be in my in my #HondaElement instead this time. I built a #DIY #MicroCamper in the back.

Except, somehow, much more birdlike in English.
Anyway, hopefully i don't have to drag that one out to describe the #olywa #pacnw weather this week...

An eerie purple sunset at Arch Cape, Oregon. We went here to hunt agates, but it's now one of my favorite parts of the beautiful Oregon coast. The B series (in the comments) has another shot from this same vantage point, but earlier in the day. See if you can spot the bird on the triangular rock in that one.
