One of the first modules you do in the Digital Painting Academy is coloring lineart using different layer workflows. This is my favorite one that I did! So cheerful and pink!
(The lineart isn't mine; the obnoxious color choices, however, are).
Even tho the class is taught in #Photoshop I found I could follow along just fine in #Krita . Yay!

I signed up for Paintable Digital Art Academy (http://paintable.cc/academy ) and am starting from the very beginning lessons. I've already learned 3 keyboard shortcuts in Krita that I wasn't aware of--and the guy's teaching in PhoSho. I'm not normally a video watcher, but these are short and it's fun to do the exercise along with the isntructor. Already feeling really good about this. 🐱
