I work with #PaintDotNet a lot and one of the biggest flaws of that otherwise great program is lack of advanced layers management like folders. With 50+ layers in a single file it gets really difficult and messy with one super-long scrolling list and indistinct/tiny previews.
My workaround is grouping by color-coding layers labels with emojis like 🟥 🟦 🟩 🟨 or even general emojis.
