#Artists and #Creatives: I just painted a Red Cross on my new white first aid box. I used masking tape but it bled through. I tried to clean the edges as best I could but…it’s not perfect. When I look at it, I focus on the imperfections. Experience tells me if I keep going, I’ll overwork or ruin the piece.
How do you let go when you’re in a similar situation. How do you evaluate your work? Are you ever able to love it? Does it astound and confuse you when other non-creatives tell you how amazing it is, or do you just think they’re lying to you?
