It really has been amazing watching the response to #enshittification. FOSS evolution really is the natural response to the hellscape that is Web 2.0. Nowadays I feel like there’s an answer for just about everything. I just found out about #PairDrop last night.. after I’ve spent years emailing to myself. I suppose I am conditioned to “taking what is given” in terms of being stuck with proprietary software. Having all of these options is awesome and refreshing.

@kzimmermann A workaround that's been working pretty well for me: #PairDrop - https://f-droid.org/packages/com.fmsys.snapdrop/ for Android/fdroid app, the webpage works as well.

You can also host a local instance, but I haven't tried doing that myself.
