Possibly controversial (or not?) #FigureSkating opinion. I’m starting to far prefer watching #IceDancing and #Pairs over #Singles. The difference between a quad and a triple to a viewer is minimal. The difference between artistry in a program packed with high value jumps v a balanced program that isn’t trying to min/max a score is astronomical to a viewer. And the skating between jumps is often lacking in skaters focused on points. Ice Dance is more enjoyable for me as a spectator.

To my knowledge getting a #duck in 1st-class #cricket and then in the 2nd #innings being 0* at the fall of the last wicket isn’t a thing. (Then again, nor until D2, here was having the ball shined on a bald man’s head!) So we have all sorts of #pairs (getting out twice for 0 in the same match or even across matches but consecutive inns.
