If you're unfortunate and made a typo in your #Palia character's name or just decided you wanted another name.
Tough luck, you can't delete or change your name.

During the character creation I didn't read properly the 2nd box, I thought it was for last name. Then the other day I saw a screenshot of the char creation screen and saw it's the nickname field.

I've never played a game where you can't delete your character and start over.
