Or you think it's misguided
You must listen to my song
And I can never be derided
Can't disagree with me
I have a platform, you see
The only correct perspective
Is the one that suits me
All that's needed
Is you being angry

A brief flurry of sleet reminds me of winters approach. I love the season, the initial muting of the #pallete, as everything fades to black and white.
It's when I hunt best, drifting through leafless trees, searching for spots of colour, camouflaged against drifts. No need to drag them to a secluded spot, the latest fall soon covers the body. But that is still weeks away.

A moment spent in her presence
Comes with a #pallete full of her charms
And though all who behold her
Cannot help but be drenched by some of it
For it so naturally exudes from her
I'd like to think that most of her charms
Are reserved just for me
As deep waters that only I
Am permitted to bathe in
And if it is so, then I am truly blessed
