My current project is a mobile bar to go with my pool table. It will be done in the next couple of weeks.

It's done! Well, not entirely, I still need to build the bottom and line it but my DIY raised bed from pallets is almost done!

It took me four days. I'll need a few more days to finish it but I'm quite proud of the result.

For now, I'm using it to stash the remaining materials. Soon, it will be filled with life. Hopefully. We'll see, it's a bit late in the season to be doing stuff like this.

definitiv. Mich ärgert es vor allem ungemein, dass Leute unsere bestehenden Wälder verheizen (oder sie in Osteuropa oder sonstwo fällen lassen), und dann behaupten, das wäre klimaneutral, weil irgend jemand "versprochen" hat, dafür etwas irgendwann mal nachzupflanzen.

Today in the shed I
- removed some nails from some pallet wood
- removed some fixings from some other reclaimed wood
- moved some wood around
- moved some sawdust around
- disassembled my work bench to get to the saw dust
- assembled my work bench once there was very little saw dust under it
- threw away some waste
- put rusty nails from pallets in a plastic tub for reasons

Spent the morning at my #Allotment. Hoeing, breaking up #pallets to use for construction, digging out the last of my maincrop potatoes (Sarpo Mira), picking any remaining ripening tomatoes in the greenhouse and clearing away the plants.

Harvested a few carrots, leeks and some mint. Also found a red cabbage that someone has begun eating before me, probably either deer or rabbits so I'm taking the rest home.

@Steve_Map My OH and I renovated an old house during #lockdown, with my dad's help (he was in our bubble). I mostly did demolition stuff and decorating which wasn't new to me, and I failed dismally at plastering. But I did learn how to tile floors and cut wood straight. Loved #DIY so much I had a circular saw for my retirement gift 😅 Next job is to make wooden cladding for my raised veg beds.
But I've also got a couple of #pallets lying round 🤔🤔
