the providence #biltmore just turned 100.

the #PalmerHouse in chicago, once the longest continuously operating hotel in the US, closed in 2020 because of #covid (it has since reopened).

the #lexington in NYC is nearing 100, and apparently showing its age.

the #HotelLancaster on avenida atlantica in copa looks exactly as i remember, more than 40 years on. their breakfast, with platters of fresh fruit and sliced papaya with glistening seeds, amazed me when i was a kid.
