Bei dem schönen #Kartespiel #PalmIsland hab ich tatsächlich noch mit 21 Punkten die Punktewertung "Respektabel" (20–29) erreicht statt "Ganz OK" (10–19) 🥳

Dabei lief es die ersten Runden nicht gut. Die Karten waren auch in eine schlechte Reihenfolge gemischt. Beide Tempel gleich hintereinander und an so einer Stelle, dass mir immer Stein fehlte, um die aufzuwerten. Dafür klappte es bei anderen Karten in den letzten Runden besser 😃

Leider sind die #quacksalber in der Bigbox so ne große Kiste (Wortspiel ausgelassen). Hab ich sonst was vergessen?

Zu den tropischen Temperaturen passt die erste Runde #palmisland von #kosmos. Zwar nur magere 17 Siegpunkte, aber cooles Spiel.

Palm Island has two sets of cards (at least the German version does) my first set is kinda unusable now! Cards lost their sharpness, and stuck together when I have to slide them to the back of the deck or rotate them.
This is the first time that a game will be played so much that it is not usable :))))) switching to the other deck now :))))

Hab heute einen Solo-Spieltag :)
Es wurden #Obsthain, #Palmisland, #Kartograph und #UnderFallingSkies gespielt. Letzteres ist definitiv mein Favorit, von "Palm Island" und "Kartograph" muss ich demnächst aber wieder eine neue Runde spielen.

@emmahunneyball It's nice to see #PalmIsland there! The gameplay is solid and unique, but sadly it sits on the shelf because the cards are too slippery. (I'm not sure if you have the same version; this one has waterproof cards which basically means 'plastic' and while clever... makes it just tough enough to hold that it gets overlooked.)

Played #PalmIsland again, this time in co-op mode with my wife! We got SO CLOSE to surviving the famine, but my wife was just 1 stone resource away from meeting the requirements 😫

It's fun, but it's not very interactive—you play your own games and make sure you both have enough resources to meet the requirements to progress the stages of the disaster. I don't think competitive mode is much better—instead it's racing for resources.

Probably best as a solitaire game, but I like it!
