At 6 a.m. this morning my guy went outside and all was calm. At 8:30 a.m. I let the dogs out and the palm trees were really taking a beating from the wind. The sky was overcast, it was really windy, and the air felt humid. It actually felt like a tropical storm was on the way.

Wow, this morning at around 5 a.m., southern California, looking S/SE we could see crazy lightning in the sky. No bolts or streaks, just a glow lighting up a portion of the sky between and behind clouds in the distance. Too far away to hear thunder, but the glow was constant—more on than off—like a flickering light bulb.
