460 followers · 526 posts · Server sfba.socialI found a curious connection in 1956: That year #LeslieNielsen starred in Forbidden Planet and #JamesDoohan--a WWII infantryman and pilot who a decade later played Scotty on #StarTrek--starred in a Canadian live television play called Flight into Danger; the following year, it was remade a few times, including into a 1957 feature film called Zero Hour!, which was parodied in the 1980 film Airplane!, starring Leslie Nielsen.
Also, before creating Star Trek, #GeneRoddenberry had been an airline pilot for #PanAm and in 1947 crashed in the Syrian desert.

The pan am die also is a little bit annoying and i feel like there should be a little bit more predictable. But again this is a luck I can handle and ignore, but free share? Fucking no!

#panAm has an ugly look to it, I mean the board is not the best, the cover is the second most known logo (after coca cola) in its prime time, but the game is nice.
The bidding, the planes, the landing right and all building routes.
The events are a little bit random and can change the game entirely, but that's for all players, the thing that I don't like is directive cards.
You get a random one time bonus. Many are fine, they are strong, but I feel one of them should be removed! #boardgames

#RIP to Hazel McCallion, Mayor of #Mississauga up through 2014. Thought I had a selfie with her, still digging for those. But here's the last time I saw her, lighting the torch for the 2015 #PanAm Games. She was an icon, a legend, and was the MOMENT in #Sauga her whole life.
