@ybaumy @FutureHistories thanks!
I did not find a lot about #Panarchy in the political context either. If you come across something interesting, please let me know. 😺 On the other hand, the concept of multiple co-existing systems is quite popular in #anarchist contexts ("world in which many worlds fit", bolo'bolo) regardless of the term.
Excellent article that summarizes most of the topics covered and which I already know from the #Podcast #FutureHistory. I think that #JanGroos is getting in the same direction, and it makes absolutely sense to not neglect especially the ecological planning that is needed, which can not be guaranteed by a decentralized approach solely.
#Cybernetics is still an underappreciated method to tackle the problems of complexity, stability and scalability, while making sure that not another top-down system is being implemented, just because it's easier to hand over control to a central authority.
What is new to me, is the concept of #Panarchy and I will have to get into that more.
That also might be of interest to @FutureHistories 😉

"With code, we can create systems within systems (within systems), which make up the layers of a technological and sociological stack. According to the codebase, these layers express different properties, which gives rise to a dizzying array of possibilities. Such possibilities amount to five areas of transformation in how human beings organize themselves."

Then again, Max Nettlau identified with communism and revived the term #panarchy. However I get the impression this was highly heterodox even in his own time, and today I don't hear any anarcho-communists who associate with this term whatsoever.
