#PandaGlobal has released a new statement (https://twitter.com/PandaGlobal/status/1599631343159480321) saying that, effective immediately, Dr. Alan is no longer the CEO, and also that the #PandaCup Finale is postponed until further notice.

Also interestingly enough, Dr. Alan has doubled down on saying that #SWT has lied to everyone and that #BeyondTheSummit is the one harming the community. TL;DR - Nintendo's trying to backpedal and promote #PandaGlobal as being "for the community", but the community wants nothing to do with them. #SWT is still currently cancelled.

TL;DR #VGBootCamp, who has been a huge community advocate for the grassroots #Smash scene for basically ever, was running a big tournament series and the finally was supposed to happen soon. Now, #Nintendo basically told them it's not gonna happen, and the community is speculating this is because #PandaGlobal is being super scummy

#PandaGlobal shut down at least two competing #SmashBros tournament circuits because they wanted to be independent rather than turning their events into Panda's, and #Nintendo went back on their word about allowing non-Panda events to occur. affected were basically all BTS events as well as the #SmashWorldTour.
