😆 When you order a #bagel with cream cheese at #panera , and they give you a plastic fork, a little container of cream cheese and a small bagel-shaped mini-loaf of bread... #sigh

BE WARNED: #Panera’s take on a caprese salad in a sandwich is quite tasty but is uncharacteristically huge. Like 10” of their quite girthy baguette. Not for the carb-free or gluten-free. Very gluteny, yum... The not-lettuce greens & dressing give it interesting complexity.

Wow. I dont know what sauce they use on this but I have never NEVER had such an assault on my olfactory nerves.

Taste? Fine. A little kick but when it hits the back of the throat.... there's this wave of ...ZING that hits you right at the base of your nose.

Its unpleasant.

I tried one of the new Panera toasted baguette sandwiches today.... the Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt. I love pizza and am a big fan of pepperoni, however this version somehow misses the mark. Maybe it could have used more sauce, different pepperoni, and perhaps a two cheese blend (cheddar). Flavor was okay.
Points for trying though! It's a bit too big. The bread was fantastic. #Panera
