Rec'd mailers from both candidates for the special election for the 163rd PA House today. The Democrat, #HeatherBoyd, takes a positive tone, gives her credentials, states exactly what she stands for & what she'll do in office. Her GOP opponent is running on being an outsider with no political experience, gives vague platitudes about doing "what's right," and attacks the Dem candidate in a really sleazy way. Unsurprising.

This past weekend I received a flyer in the mail re: the 163rd PA House District special election--a flyer from the Republican candidate, some woman marketing herself as the wife of a cop. All things considered, that's probably going to inspire more people to vote against her--I will doubly vote against her since her Democratic opponent Heather Boyd is strongly pro-choice and has vocally opposed allowing Republicans to make women less free in the Commonwealth.
